C'est le récit tout en douceur et en beauté contemplative, d'une randonnée, d'un couple qui marche ensemble une derniers fois avant de se séparer, au coeur des montagnes sauvages du Wyoming. Et s'y mêle, par touches inattendues, violentes et pourtant jamais désarmantes ni complètement inquiétantes, une traque qui tient le lecteur en haleine jusqu'au bout. Une excellent lecture, qui se lit très vite.
review 2: I really liked this book. It's a subtle suspense novel with just enough atypical fiction romance to keep you rooting for the main characters. Set in the mountains of Wyoming,it follows a married couple (since separated)on a final hike to their favorite fishing spot. Past mistakes and wrong choices for both of them are unravel... moreed as they move toward a harrowing, unexpected encounter with ruthless poachers. Evocative of the incredibly beautiful expanse of wilderness, it also brings home its inherent savageness. less
