review 1: This is my 3rd novel by this author and I am about to start on her short stories volume. i am addicted to her writing. Cost is a deeply moving and engaging look at addiction, family dynamics and love. Ms Robinson, true to form, writes about families with keen insight and understanding. I eagerly await her next novel. This is writing to sink ones teeth into. Complex, intelligient and gorgeous prose.
