review 1: First thing first; everyone of us who want to stay active/fit... for long term ofcourse; have to read this book. the title of the book doesnt do justice to the content of the book.The book comes from a person who is not only educated on the subjects involved but also have degrees to go by with it. Mind you not every one who writes such books or claim to be dietician or nutritionist have oneThe book takes you to a journey where you get to know the simple/complex science behind every food we eat.. or the way we eat them. the book has cheat sheet at the end of the chapter, which is like points to remember. Almost every chapter has a box where the common myhths related to food has been explained.While reading you will come across many examples;which in author's own words are ... morereal life examples..that illustrate the point in a more practical way. Though the voice format of the book is gentle'..many a places the author has been straight forward...no bullshit literally...u may feel bad but u get the point...The best thing.. she tells you all the way to eat..eat..n eat... :)
review 2: Loved this book. It gives you some practical tips (which are quite doable) about managing your daily diet and maintaining healthy eating habits. The 'Eat small meals every two hours' principle actually does stop you from overeating. What I also like is that the author encourages you to exercise to remain fit and to have an active lifestyle. It also gives a step by step guide to adapt the 4 principles in your day to day life. A very useful book for everyone. less
