review 1: I was blown away by this superbly good story!I enjoyed it so much it had me sneaking in reads everywhere I went!I don't particularly read many bone crunching zombie books. However I love Fischer's writing and style that I knew I needed to try this one out. To me, this ranks pretty high up there. It was one of my favorite books of 2013.On a more review stand point, it at times read to me like a really cool bad to the bone chick action movie. Which is a good thing I might add! The only "problem" I may have had with this novel is that the action is more towards the end and it left me wanting more.Other than that I had no problems. It was funny in the right places, had a really good storyline, and a nice touch of bad to the bone chick. Though this is a novel I so wish I could ... moreget in physical form with my other favorites. :)
review 2: For a free read this was very well done. Lucy is a loner, even for a zombie. Oh yeah she's a zombie too. Any way this runs in the same manner and takes place in the same world as Zombies Don't Cry. When the school changes out there old paper towel dispensers with new heat sensitive ones Lucy screws up. Zombie's being dead and all don't have body heat. A bunch of girls see and one "concerned student" wants to help. Instead she writes an article in the school news paper about Lucy being a zombie as a horrible prank. Outed, Lucy has to try to fix her mistake, and save the girl who outed her in the first place. While saving their butts, she makes some new friends as well as loses her three year crush. The story is pack with zombie vs vampire action. I was pulled right into the book and kept on the edge of my seat. Another great read for Mr Fisher. It's quick and fun, and since it's free you've got nothing to lose. less
