review 1: I thought it was an awesome book. At the beginning the main character, Ashlee, didn't like being a vampire, but at the end, she is all like happy and think life is almost perfect (even though she is a long way from perfect.). I have 3 parts that are my favorite. The first part is when Ashlee turns into a bat and is trying to stalk this boy named Mac. This is because Ashlee thinks he is a Dark One, which means that he is a vampire that sucks human blood. The next part that is my favorite is when Ashlee goes to the Hirsh house and goes into Sasha's room to discuss who is the Dark One in school. They thought over the facts and came to the conclusion that it was Mr. Harker, the director of the play they were having. The last part of the story that was my favorite was when Ashl... moreee actually witnessed Mr. Harker turn into a bat to suck Sasha's blood. I think that part was cool and scary at the same time. So that is what I think.
review 2: What's worse than vampires? Tween vampires at prep school in L.A.The best part of this book was the invention of Sanga!, a blood substitute in refreshing beverage form for the nourishment of vampires who prefer not to attack other people. Yes, the exclamation point is part of the name. While the rest of this book was predictable schlock, this one detail was completely perfect. less
