review 1: Hero skated on the line of way to bossy to the point of alpha-hole. The climax of the story from his overreaction to her idiocy was too much for me. Strangely, I think if the author made this a full length novel instead of a novella it would improve the book. At least ease up on the instant love and the non-trust. Maybe we, as readers, could have been given a chance to see why they behaved the way they did instead of the bizarre mood shifts and irrational behaviors from savvy people.
review 2: Lots of good reviews for this book. Not too steamy, a good mix of story and romance. This is a family/families you just want to be involved with and get to know each one of them. I will definately continue on from this free book and buy more. Ruth Cardello is now one ... moreof my favourite authors.. The only negative is love happens too quickly!!! I would rather get to know more of the characters first. But I still love how she writes. less
