review 1: so after reading all the reviews I'm really afraid i won't like it, and it's already hard enough for me to get into books that take place in London (no clue why i can't read em but that setting just bothers me) but alas my only hope is that the romance and the faries will pull it out of the dumps :P welp here goes nothing , I'll give a proper review when I'm done (well if I finish according to most of the reviews a lot of people couldn't even finish it)
review 2: I normally don't like books about fairies in the modern world, but I thought I would give this one a try given that I do like books about normal people (so she's a fairy, she's still not a princess) in relationships with royals. I'm happy I did as I really did enjoy it. The characters are interesting,... more the concept is pretty well thought out, and the romance is cute. I did however feel that the prince was much older and read much older than the 17/18 he was in the book. I get that he had to be that age for the prince-king transition, but I think it would have worked better with him a little older and more mature. She is, after all, a fairy who has been around for centuries. less
