review 1: This is really a 3.5 star bookThis is the first book I have read from this author, and I really enjoyed it - the only reason it wasn't a 4* was because of some punctuation issues which interrupted my reading. It has been likened to Ghost Whisperer and I can understand why, although Mary can only hear ghosts, she can't see them. In places it was more humorous than Ghost Whisperer. A very eclectic bunch of characters. I have put the next two on my wish list.
review 2: Mary has heard ghosts since she was very little. Raised by her grandmother after her parents died, she has been surrounded by the abnormal because her grandmother is a psychic. She reads tarot cards and channels dead people. This doesn't make things easy for Mary who has been picked on in school f... moreor as long as she can remember. She has one friend but shes okay with that, she just wants to be left alone anyway. When the new kid in school decides to befriend her, she doesn't realize how much she liked it until he starting thinking she was weird as well. This is a great young adult paranormal short story and is currently free on Amazon. less
