review 1: I bought this book to read one author in particular and quickly saw that it is a mother lode of favorite writers and new ones I've wanted to try. I just read JT Ellison's "The Number of Man", and my heart is still pounding! What a great read - fast, I cared immediately, and spooky as heck. I'd completely forgotten how much I enjoy short stories. And they are perfect for my current short-circuited attention span. I'm looking forward to the remaining 30-odd entries.
review 2: This was a pretty good introduction to many authors works whom I haven't read from before. and overall, the entire book was pretty good. I tried rating the stories for my own benefit as this determined which authors wowed me in which I could add to my list of must read authors. A few stori... morees were paranormal which I don't tend to read this type of genre and honestly I skimmed over them only because of that reason and so I cannot fairly give any type of review. The book is the type where you can read 2, 3 maybe 4 stories and put it down especially if you are at work on your break in which case I was. The entire book is one fast read. less
