review 1: 5 stars is not enough for this book! I've read up to book 9 in this series and this book is my favorite! Keegan was introduced into the series some books back and even from the beginning we knew of his interest in Vince. We also knew Vince was a jerk through his interactions in various books and his reputation is as a big bad deadly killer. The relationship that develops and the introduction of new characters is what made me love this book the most. Vince is the baddest of all the assassins (though Mateo isn't far behind) and to see him grow the way he did had me almost in tears! Definitely start with Vince and Riley's book 1 to get the full picture of all the men, I'm so glad I did. Now on to the rest!
review 2: This book fed my addiction to this series real... morely well, I felt totally sated by the time I had finished it. Vincent was amazing and Keegan adorable. I personally love the way the author portrays her characters - strong, sexy, alpha males, who would "take a bullet" for their giggly, loveable "he's the only one for me" mate/husband. Granted, this may not be to everyone's taste but it does it for me! Be warned though, the violence is a bit more graphic in this offering - chopping off someone's hand whilst still holding a gun, is a prime example, but what can I say? We've talking Vincent here! and what about Mateo shooting Vince - to make "a point" - classic! As I have already stated, I love this series but would strongly suggest that you start with book 1 first (they are on sale at 77p for a limited time) to fully appreciate these wonderful stories - characters from previous books keep reappearing (another big plus for me) - and that way, you get complete enjoyment and satisfaction, which is surely the biggest reason for buying a book. Well worthy of 5*. less
