review 1: ★★★½.This story continued the war between the false bloods and Lena's new rule. It also continued the love triangle with Kyol, Mackenzie & Aren. I have to admit, I was really torn with whom she would be best with. I like both guys and I didn't want anyone to be left out.Lena and her continual struggle to gain legitimacy for her crown dominated this story. So if you like action, action, action, then this ending would appeal to you. The story did feel like it wasn't over though, so I wonder if the author plans to revisit this trilogy.
review 2: 3 Stars. Warning displeased spoilers ahead...This was the last book in the series and after three books the war is finally over. How did it end? Well we don't really know bc Mckenzie missed it. She and Kyol were pas... moresed out cold from a taser. We don't know how they retook the palace and who killed the bad guy. If any of our friends are still alive. You do get a HEA but it still needed more. After the love triangle and all the changes we needed more information for everything to be all wrapped up. All I have to say is WTF. Not as good as the others... less
