review 1: Tracks is the first book in the Rock Bottom series by Sarah Biermann. Dylan Ackart is a Harvard Law Student. She moved to Boston with her best friend, Theresa. It’s because of Theresa she meet sexy musician Jeremy Mason. Dylan has had a rough life and is using her time at Harvard to giver herself a fresh start. Dylan is a smart and levelheaded woman. She is also a bit naive as well. Jeremy Mason is a famous rock star who was a musical genius. He loves all kinds of music including the opera. He uses the typical trappings of fame, like drugs and alcohol to dull the demons that seem haunt him. What we do find out about his past does not seem to be everything just what he is comfortable in sharing. He does not want to face his past but he does try to clean up his ... moreact only for Dylan. Scott grew up rich while he does not have the money Jeremy has he is determined to have the girl. He pursues Dylan as her relationship with Jeremy gets rough. He is her soft place to fall as Dylan copes with dealing with Jeremy. Scott is the safe choice for Dylan to choose but they do not have the chemistry that Jeremy and Dylan have together. While Scott would stay because its expected and the right thing to do, Jeremy loves Dylan with such passion you always know not just where you stand but his feelings. Overall, this was a hot and spicy read. I loved this story more than I expected. My only grip was that Dylan did not notice the drug use until Jeremy is already spiraling out of control. I found that hard to believe especially with her background. But that could be explained away by her naivety. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Chemistry between them is powerful, intense.Jeremy is confident, cocky, intense, womanizer but at the same time he is broken. Full of secrets. Secrets that made him the way he is. Secrets that are his problems and he can´t beat them.There is one more male character that is close to her. Scott Hillman. He wants her. He is the safe choice. He is sweet, gentle.So many lies and secrets will be discovered. Choices will be made. Dylan will be torn between the guy who is safe and the bad boy rock star who has her heart, who hit the rock bottom and who needs her.The bad side of the rock star life was shown. The drugs. The alcohol.The end… Definitely unexpected and you just can´t wait to read the next book to read what will happen.The plot. The story. The characters. The way the story progressed. Twists and turns. Hot steamy scenes. All of got me captivated.
