I learned about Edenbrooke through one of Brookie’s posts when she mentioned how she has re-read it four times already. Being someone who rarely re-reads books, I was curious as to what she saw in it.
I’m a sucker for a good Regency drama, and this book had the whole shebang. I ate it all up: the horse rides through the countryside, the balls and dancing, and the uncertain romance. I’ve never actually read a Regency drama, but this book had everything I could hope for in one. I could easily picture it as a movie and actually decided to listen to the Pride and Prejudice 2005 movie soundtrack while reading halfway through the book
