review 1: Mackenzie was a producer on a popular tv show when she had a very bad car accident. She spent the next year, trying to strengthen her body and to get her old life back after the accident. She's worried about losing her job because she knows she is not completely healed and doesn't have the stamina to go back to the job. She meets Oliver when he moves in next door to clear out his late aunt's house. He uses this task as a way to get away and try to get himself back together after finding out his wife has been sleeping with her ex for early their entire 6 year marriage. When he meets Mac, they don't hit it off at all, mainly because Mac is so rude to him since she is pretty angry about not being fit enough to go back to work and her old life. Things between them get worse ... morebefore they get better so it is surprising when they start to have feelings for each other.I loved their dogs and the way they added humor to the story. This pair REALLY wanted to be together and would do just about anything to make that happen.
review 2: Don't like spoilers don't read feedback. I don't give story descriptions, those are up to the author to do, not the readers. Don't judge this by the beginning. The characters are believable and the story is written well. I have to admit that I hated the female character so much in the beginning (her logic, not her moods) that I came the closest to just deleting this story.. I hardly ever do that. Something kept me reading. Turns out I'm glad I did. It ended up being a really good read. I recommend this one and am looking forward to the authors other works. less
