review 1: Yes this is my review for all the books since i dislike writing reviews for each and everyone but all in all great story awesome main characters Refering to Nevery, Conn, Benet :) after finishing this book i couldn't sleep cause i was wondering if there is a 4th book or one that will be released XD now that i see it has it's awesome i was up half the night thinking about him going to school with a dragon around his neck :) Seriously tho man that is so awesome what he did at the end with the 2 magic beings XD i must admit all the haters in this book do get kinda old like nimbly, Kerrn, Argent that and how rowan acts superior to everyone lol but i suppose she isn't too bad but i think if i was conn i may have severely not mortally but severely wounded like kerrn or argent...... more. BUT SO AWESOME!!! the dragons and the ending and everything ended awesome but i still wanted another book :)
review 2: In the previous book, Conn was in put into jail. Using magic and skills he picked up as a pickpocket, he escapes. However, Conn has a tough decision to make since he has nowhere to go. He destroyed his own home playing with fire. Nevery is mad at him. But, if he stays in the city, he will die. Before anything could happen, a shadow sweeps him away.
