review 1: More like 2.5 stars. Another one I got for Xander but I didn't think it was appropriate for his age. There were some kids in the story that came from some rough backgrounds and they were really quite mean. I wasn't big on these tough kids kidnapping a young boy and holdig him and his sister prisoner in some caves. Might be a little too scary for younger kids. Once again, more for the older kids, 10 and up.

This is a fun, adventure-filled MG read. The imaginative, curious spirit of childhood can be found in the pages of this novel. less
