review 1: A bit strange that the two main characters that appeared in the first chapter didn't end up together. You can sense the trouble in the prologue, and that confused me as to whether or not the two characters being written were indeed the main h/H. The characters stay true to their personalities, but I find their personalities to be annoying. I still finished it and didn't hate it, which is why it got 2 stars.
review 2: This book reminded me a lot of the book, "One Day," by David Nicholls. Maybe it's the writing style of the Brits, or maybe it is the constant chaos among the characters while they figure out their love story. This style is a love hate relationship for me. On the one hand I can't seem to put the book down, on the other sometimes I'm thinking,"Thi
... mores is crazy, why am I reading this? Nobody would act this way if they were being treated this way." The way the characters ended up together was fairly predictable. I have decided that the English use the "f" word, in their every day language as if it were any other word. It's weird I can't really say what it was I really liked about the book- other than Miles, I love Miles- but there had to be something because I read 80% of the book in one day. Oh, by the way, THIS IS NOT A CHRISTMAS BOOK! less
