review 1: Life in a small town newspaper with the editor hiring a new scribbler. The crime rate in the area starts to soar soon after. The new recruit seems to be on the ball and far more ahead than the local police itself. All eyes fall on him when a series of murders take place in town, but all isn't what it seems.I did enjoy the writing. Tight and tongue-in-cheek. I found the story itself gritty. All ingredients that make a book enjoyable (to me). And it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely check Nichoson out in the future.
review 2: I very rarely give five stars, but I found this novella to be a quick and upbeat story that kept me on my toes. I even finished this in a few hours on very very little sleep. So if this story was able to keep me awake and keep
... more me wanting more after every chapter, it is definitely worth the time. I would recommend this to any of my friends and already have to some family. I am very happy I heard about it and was able to get it on my Kindle for 99 cents! less

I don't think this will be one of my favorite authors. Could have filled out the characters better.

Another excellent twist by Mr. Nicholson. A lot shorter but felt just as long.
