review 1: As this is the prequel to the Unrestrained Series, but was released after the entire series, I will most definitely be reading the rest of this series. Drake Morgan is the type of man any lady would love to have as her man. Yet he does not do the girlfriend thing. He was married and loved once, leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. He has no problem tying you up, gagging you and making you feel intense pleasure a couple times a week letting his DOM side come out in the bedroom. But he has no room for anything more than that from women. Kate McDermott is everything that Drake looks for in his subs. She is pretty, shy, innocence and he can think of nothing but all the wicked ways he wants her. Until he realizes who she really is and he knows he should walk away. But he ... moreis completely smitten with Kate and must know what she feels like under him. The book is told through Drake’s POV which I thoroughly enjoyed. We don’t often get to see the guy’s side of things. We learn about Drake and what makes him tick. I can not wait to read the rest of this series. Do believe Drake could be my next book boyfriend.
review 2: It's nice to hear drake's pov for this story. especially prior to him meeting Kate. in the agreement it was clear that he was the definition of a dom. he was controlling and possessive to a fault until he finally realized that he was in love. in this book I liked that we saw the difference in how he treated other women compared to how he treated Kate. I would love to read more about those two especially her ex friend that tried to our Drake. less
