review 1: I needed a real feel-good read and this book filled that function well. It is kind of instalove, which feels extra hazardous when there are two babies involved. I can also see some issues coming up in the future for this couple, but I am sure they will get thorugh it. They work really well together and feel like they are meant to be together. So go Chad and Peter. I tried to let the doubts and go and just enjoy the romance, sweetness and coziness of it all. Instant feel good.
review 2: This is like an ad for how normal gays can be and how well they can parent. I mean, it was all about being a gay parent. There wasn't real tension. I did find it beleivable that he jst happened to find the right guy out in the middle of nowhere, but I swear, a Harlequin romance h
... moreas more of an arc thqan this story did. No need for it to be even the slim 78 pgs it was. Pretty good sex, but without tension, and the majority of the committment and exploration of feelings being directed at the babies- this is for a particular audience of which i am not. less
