review 1: This is a love story that spans years and yet seems to be happening in the moment. The story is toldl through the eyes and heart of the main character, Noah. It is refreshing to read a story through male eyes and feelings. Noah experiences many levels of hope, despair, rejection, and love from family, friends, and yes, the love of his life. The ending of the novel leaves the reader with a good feeling and ties up the loose ends. The author is brilliant at segwaying from the present to the past and back again to the present without losing the reader's attention. The setting and characters are very real and to the reader, it seems that we've met these characters before. This is a quick, engaging, and fast-paced novel about the real world. Definitely 2 thumb... mores up!
review 2: Dos piores livros que já li. Uma história de amor eterno que parecia que realmente nunca mais acabava. Foi com grande alívio que virei a Página 264. A única coisa boa do livro mesmo a ilustração da capa. Personagens superficiais, acontecimentos previsíveis, poucos diálogos e recheados de lamechice atrás de lamechice. Uma estória simplesmente mal contada. Não percebo como este livro ganhou prémios. Devem ter saído no pacote dos cereais... less
