review 1: I would have given this a 4 maybe even a 5 star rating had it not been so degrading. I know that this is fantasy and it had a happily ever after, but I just cannot respect any woman who allows a man to treat her the way Mr. Kaiser treated Heidi. This was not a D/s relationship. He used her for his own selfish needs knowing that she would do anything for him and he took advantage of this fact. Heidi may have loved the punishments Mr. Kaiser dished out but she should have put her foot down when he told her to do "anything" to get information from his competitor. I have read a lot of Selena Kitt's books and have enjoyed most of them but I was totally disappointed by the treatment of a woman in this book.
review 2: Really enjoyed this book, was pretty hot and ... moresteamy at times. Heidi gets more than she bargained for when she takes a job with CEO Warren Kaiser. It all starts when she accidentally stains his pants and receives a spanking on their first meet (not sure I would drop my shorts for a stranger though).He offers her a job as his secretary where she has to play by his rules and do whatever he asks or suffer the punishment he sees fit.Definitely got the blood pumping and I look forward to reading more from Selena. less
