review 1: I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It takes place long after the zombie apocalypse where society, as we knew it, has reverted back to the days of the old west with small towns spread few and far between... where religion reigns supreme and strangers can't be trusted. It's beautifully descriptive and makes the circus seem dark and magical while reminding you that it's all an illusion. I haven't read anything else like it and was very pleased. This is worth checking out but be mindful that this is not your typical zombie infection spreading chaos tale.

... moreracter's complexion got so sidetracked, that by the time Blackburn actually got to the relevant part, I had forgotten what the description was originally about. It wasn't terrible, but if that's indicative of his writing style, I wouldn't be able to handle a whole novel. Nothing a good editor wouldn't fix. less

A nice little short story involving some zombies and a post apocalyptic circus. I liked it enough.

It's by no means an original plot but it is a sound plot. The dangers of curiosity and zealots.

Amazing short story!! To bad this isn't a series, I would have loved to read more.
