review 1: This book is somewhere good for young teens to start reading. It does involve all the classic aspects of the fairy tale world, but the plot is a little rushed leaving the characters not all that involving. During the read I could feel certain ideas the author was trying to develop, but didn't reach a level of depth required to really pull the reader in, to involve them in this world. I believe that the book and the author are undeveloped but show promise for the future.

... moreGreat Wizard of Yden on the same level, I know I would have enjoyed reading it very much and been anxious to read further adventures in the series. It’s a great read for boys or girls. That said, even as an adult I enjoyed it!What was the best part? Hands down, Jon Hansen’s (the main character's) special ability. I can’t tell you what it is. You need to read the book. All I can say is that it’s really cool (I honestly do use words like “cool” a lot), and if you’re at all artistic you’ll especially love it. less
