review 1: Long Live This Series! Rylee's strength and depth is admirable. She's honest, loyal and honorable. She helps those who can't help themselves and takes in strays in need and makes a "family". Everyone wants a piece of Rylee and she's given so much of herself in this installment that she's a bit thin when the betrayals and secrets come to light nearly crushing her.There are plenty of returning characters and some new ones to love too. The twist and turns keep you on the fence though of how much to love some of them and just how good or bad they may be.Liam makes his return and not a moment to soon for Rylee. Alex of course is right by Rylee's side every minute he can be. Alex is the one character I think we all wish we had one of! I also loved the addition of Blaz and I have... more the feeling he's going to become very important down the line.I recommend this outstanding series to anyone who likes Urban Fantasy and supernatural creatures of any kind! Warning though, this series is highly addictive!
review 2: I'm givin this book 4.5 stars, not just 4 stars. This totally blew away the last book! I was not all that happy w/ book 3 in this series & book 4 made up for it, in spades. I hated for this book to end & I'm hopin book 5 will deliver. Ok... where do I start?Loved the addition of Blaz, wanted to see more of Jack & so glad Liam/O'Shae is back. Rylee is pissin me off by keepin Milly around. I don't care if she is pregnant, I'd run her thru, pregnant belly 1st. Who wants to b responsible for her rotten baby. In my mind, for some reason Doran sounds like Aguidor Sparticus, the houseboy from the movie The Birdcage, don't ask me y, cuz I don't know. I started gettin the feelin that Berget was gonna turnout to b the Child Empress but wasn't sure till I actually read it. When I read it, I flipped out. Obviously, we're headed for a love triangle w/ Liam & Faris. I thought Liam wasn't comin back so I was already gettin comfortable w/ the idea of Faris. Anyone realize Giselle was never buried? So Rylee is just goin back to the Farmhouse that's had a dead body in it for 3 weeks, IJS. My thoughts aren't completely comin together, been up readin 2 books all nite. THIS WAS GREAT, GET THE SERIES. less
