review 1: Holiday vacation on a Cruise Liner what could happen ? Was I in for an exciting time. While Mark is waiting for his comrades to embark on their cruise, he has a chance encounter with Sophia, and as she is planning to get married, she thinks a last fling would be just the thing to say goodbye to her life as a single girl. Wow do the sparks fly as Mark and Sophia share a Hot, Passionate afternoon. Both seem a little shell shocked, but have to go their separate ways. They both wish and want more, so what a shock it was when they again meet on board the liner. They can't fight the attraction, but Sophia has some decisions to make. Add to the mix, a plot to seize the liner and hold the passengers for ransom, and oh those Seals are all business, as the lives of their loved ones ... moreare at stake. I think those Seals will need another vacation to get over this one. Well done Sharon Hamilton on another wonderfully exciting story.
review 2: Sharon Hamilton’s CRUISIN’ FOR A SEAL plumbs the depths of the heart and of the ocean in a story filled with extreme emotional charges and soulless terrorists. SEAL Team member Mark Beale is in Savona, Italy nursing the wounds left by the death of Sophie Dunn, sister of a fellow SEAL, whom he knew to be his soulmate. Mark is at the abyss of deep depression, not sure he can or wants to find a way back. He and his buddies are to leave shortly, with wives and girlfriends, to spread their Gunny Sergeant’s ashes mid-cruise to Brazil. A chance encounter with a ravishing but escapist Italian beauty brings him back to life. Thus, Hamilton sets the stage for exotic erotica of the most cold-shower-inducing kind. Her characters engage in what has to be some of the most intense and exacting sex around, even as terrorists take over the cruise ship and threaten to ruin everyone’s vacation. The action suspense aspects to the story are frighteningly possible: an American owned ship with thousands on board, unscrupulous staff and some not vetted by appropriate authorities, hundreds of miles from help and with just a handful of lightly armed SEALS to assist, an onboard bomb to disarm and passengers who take their lessons from Flight 93. And that Italian beauty shows up, too. This is the stuff of a great adventure that will have you reading late into the night…just as I did. less
