Curl Up and Dye
review 1: LilyAnn Bronte’s life stops when her fiancé, Randy Joe Bentonfeld, was killed in Afghanistan. In highschool, LilyAnn was every girl's fantasy. She's a Homecoming Queen, a Valedictorian, a cheerleader, beautiful and popular. Eleven years later, she becomes every woman's nightmare. Overweight, a collegedropout with no future (a more miserable Bridget Jones). Her fate changed when she met Randy. I love how Sharon portrays the life of small town people. I would recommend this book to people who love warm, funny, and meaningful story.
review 2: I tried to research this before reading but i guess it was just too new, i decided to just give it a go and hope for the best. I read on longer than I maybe should have... Another case of getting caught up in the story but
... moreafter the 3 F bomb on one page I was beyond done. I should have stopped at the beginning of the book after the first one was dropped but I was hoping it would be isolated. Oh well page 133 and this one is going back the library. If you don't prefer clean reads like I do you might really enjoy this book, it was a fun story. Clean readers : sex - constant mild profanity - numerous F bombs less
