review 1: Just read Experiment's review to understand why this book didn't work for me. To be fair, I did read his review before picking up the book and he did warn me that it probably wouldn't be to my taste. I rather enjoy a little cross dressing now and then so I figured I'd give this a chance. #1. The mother was warped. Jayce said it and he was right. #2. What kind of boss takes advantage of an employee like that? Oh, the lines that were crossed there! #3. There really wasn't as much "geisha" as I had hoped. He wore the costume and put on a show but I'm still not sure what the show consisted of other than a dance that was not part of it and eating rice for dinner.
review 2: This book tried really hard to be yaoi, but even for yaoi there were just too many t... morehings wrong with it. It had potential, the whole mystery geisha thing could have really worked, but there were too many points where the plot veered into the land of wildly outrageous to be able to stay reasonable and coherent.Oh, and the guy at the top of the cover looks like he's trying to sell me a car. less
