review 1: Good, but typical coming of age wolf story. Evie knew nothing of her family history until she began to change into a wolf and then she learns about her family's secrets and the dangers of her new life as a wolf shifter including an ancient rivalry with cat shifters and learning how to control her own nature. My biggest problem with the story was the cliffhanger at the end; itt was cruel one. I'm going to have to find the next book in the series
review 2: It was just supposed to be a trip to grandma's house. LOL yeah it's kind of like the little red riding hood, but with her being the wolf. Evie's been normal, and all of a sudden she's a wolf now. She is having to learn a whole new way of life. And now we have to worry about cat shifters too. I think I maybe
... moreexpected Evie to freak out a little more. Evie liked to run, as long as she could remember, and now she dreams of running free. So, in a way, her not freak out moment I guess was because she wanted it so bad! And now she's the legendary white wolf. She not only has to learn this new way of life, she now has to compete. And not just with her pack mates, but the cats too. Evie seems to get into a lot of trouble. LOL Yeah, she's a teenager, and now a young wolf, but she seems to have more trouble than that LOL. There's a good pace to the story, and I wish there were more. There's also a major cliff hanger so beware. There's plenty of action, a great plot twist, and some excellent scenery. I will say I definitely want to know what happened in that cliff hanger so I will be getting book two :) less
