Headline Review
review 1: This is another great story from Sheila O'Flanagan. The characters are all interesting and the way the book is written you feel like you are part of the story and not just someone reading a book. If you have never read her books before you should as they all have a feel good feeling about them but not too mushy. You can put yourself in these situations and see that these things might happen to you in your daily life. I have never been to Ireland but feel if I visited I would know these streets and shops very well. This story tells how you would feel if your present situation should change overnight. It makes you think that maybe we should all have something put by for a raining day or have a plan. I would recommend this book and if you have not read this author what are yo... moreu waiting for.
review 2: It is Sheila's new release this year, once I saw it available in the shop, I immidiately purchased a copy and started reading on that day. It was a wonderful story in a small town I could relate to and the storyline flows through the main character Sheridan. It is a story of how women are confronted with unexpected changes in their lives and find their inner strength to survive them, which is a favourite theme of Sheila's stories. The emotion and internal conflict Nina has faced could have been explored a bit more in depth but overall it is a lovely story. less
