review 1: I would recommend this book to anyone, not just women. There is a lot concerning women specifically, but much of what she has to say would be beneficial to men as well. It is not just a book of feel good fluff. I enjoyed her insights into the plan of salvation, gaining greater faith, receiving answers to prayer and finding my personal mission. I also felt her thoughts about the priesthood and the temple were inspired. There was so much in there, I feel like I need to read it again to really appreciate it fully. I love Sister Dew!
review 2: Easy to read with lots of good ideas, marvelous quotes, and entertaining stories. Not many pages went by that I didn't have something to underline or insert a comment in the margins. For instance, the idea that "women have mo
... morere flexibility than a man, but at the same time that flexibility introduces ambiguity and uncertainty." Or the idea that questions are good and lead to answers, as illustrated by the Prophet Joseph in the First Vision, but "the crucial issue is not about asking questions, it is the spirit in which questions are asked." Or consider this, that "LDS women have unusual influence and privileges in the Church, many of which require ordination in other churches." An enjoyable book, although it engaged my head more than my heart. less

In true Sheri Dew fashion, a clear, understanding of doctrine, with her mid western grounded-ness.
