review 1: I didn't realize this was two short stories. I usually stay away from such books just due to personal preference, but I really enjoyed the series. While the stories were good, I did feel that things were a bit rushed. I think this was more due to the length of space the authors were allotted than anything else. Both ladies had written at least one full length book in the series and I enjoyed those as well.
review 2: I really enjoyed his book, which is actually two stories in one. I usually don't care for romance novels, but these were also suspense - so that made them more enjoyable for me. I have more of the Love Inspired Suspense books, so I will probably read them now. These stories were interesting, and they held my attention until the end; plus, the... morey were both written to where they are totally believable, and I could see them actually happening to someone. less
