review 1: All agesA thunderstorm rolls in and catches the family off guard. They scramble to put away the farm animals, get the laundry off the line, and get the dog and favorite chicken inside. After the storm, the chicken finds a little kitten and the family decides to keep him and name him Thunder Boomer after the storm. This would be good for a story time about weather. Also you could use this to illustrate narrative. The family has a process that they must complete to keep everything safe from the storm. You could have the children relate the process that they take for different activities.
