review 1: I am utterly surprised by this book. I have read Sinear Moriarity's other books in the past and found them light, entertaining, and even hilarious. This book was quite heavy with the topic of drugs and alcohol abuse, pregnancy at young age, miscarriages, grief, loss, lies, divorce, death... It was pretty heavy and I didnt expect it. Having said that, I noted there were a couple characters in story that made it light and pretty entertainig. I don't know if I have enjoyed it. I didn't like any of the main characters. I tried to emphatise but I can't. It is still a good read though.
review 2: I read this book in 2 days. From start to finish I was highly interested though it was very predictable to see where the story was going. It kept switching between the view o

My favorite charactar was Lexi as she was good humoured and a strong person who affected all of the charactars in the Fletcher home in some way. The end was happy but I do agree, a little unrealistic. As a 20 year old reading the phrases of Mark and Mandy seemed so american and not Irish at all. "Who made you God?" was repeated many times by different charactars so that was also a bit of a let down to hear the ongoing repetition of certain phrases. less

Have never read such a shallow, I'll-written book. Only made it to page 116 and had to quit.
