review 1: I'd rate Oaths of Blood as a 3 compared to the first book of the series, but it was actually well written, so I'll bump it up-- I think my problem is I am not a huge fan of Rylie, who played a more significant role in this story. Love Seth, and hoped for a different direction for him in the storyline, but some things you can see coming from a mile away. Some confusion for me as the scenes jumped around, they didn't feel as smoothly transitional as book 1. A good read, although, I don't recommend picking this one up unless you've read Sacrificed in Shadows first.
review 2: Story continues as Seth and Rylie go to meet with Elise again. And Elise is called on to save the world- for like the umpteenth time. Gosh, does this girl ever get a break??!! All the drama is
... more not just being caused by the end of the world but the struggles of both Rylie and Elise. The ending sucked- not that it was a bad ending, I just hate to see something happen to any character you meet so often….. Fun quick read for me and on to the third already. less
