review 1: 8.5/10Noblesse in my opinion is good, and amazing if you are able to step out of the world of Japanese manga and into the world of Korean webtoons. It's one of the most popular webtoons on Naver and I think it has the longest run of any webtoon out there. It's story line is made to be drawn out by nature, like most webtoon and manga. I will be doing this review based on one category to keep this short.Story- So the story starts out rather simply, but the way that it is open and starts out very interestingly so there is plenty of possibility of what might happen. So to enjoy the story, you must forget everything you know about vampires. Forget all about that god awful twilight crap, forget all about those school romance vampire crap anime and take a moment to enjoy the stor... morey. For first time manhwa/manga viewers this might seem slow, but for seasoned readers it start very fast. When they first meet M-21 and M-24 that's where the plot picks up. One of the main problems of these drawn out storylines is that they sort of get boring or slow at some parts. Not with this manhwa There is almost no filler, and it has a simple yet interesting story line.Conclusion- If you like that sort of action story line with that gets deeper as it goes along when you read then this is for you. Those seeking physiological intrigue, then this will be a good supplement, but won't be a complete placebo and you can read something like Tower of God, Serial Experiments Lain or Ghost in a Shell: Stand Alone Complex instead. If you are just trying to step outside the world of shounen and into more intricate things, this might be it.
review 2: First webtoon I ever read, and unexpectedly addictive. Really like the colorful graphics and how the illustration go back and forward between full color and greyish tones to set the mood of the story. I like the simple graphic lines. And I also (suprisedly!) like the simple rectangle panelling. The story itself was started a little slow, but then picked up the speed near the end. The ending was good and promised to have a lot of steam for the next season. *and that Rai and ramen stuff was really-really-really ludicrous, awkwardly-silly but funny, made me lol everytime, so were those manuals Frankenstein wrote for him. (he despreatly need manual for food other that ramen!!) ^_^ *btw: what is Noble/Noblesse aniway? Frank truly hasn't elaborated it clearly.... secretive, isn't he? less
