review 1: An interesting book- I like the idea of it and the text, once you get it to come out works decently well with the strange perspectives and textures of the illustrations. Thankfully, the text is written out in the back, as it's a little difficult to make out in the story due to the (artistic?) arrangement of the words. In some ways I kind of liked that it was difficult to read, as it forces you to take a bit more time with the book than a short text would normally. I generally liked the depictions of scenes but everything felt like it was maybe trying a little too hard to be fun and strange and interesting. It may be a little didactic in the end and I wish it had included some of these wonderful words, just so that it would have made it much more entertaining and deligh... moretful.
review 2: Luna loves word! She loves words so much that she collects them! Every word she finds. But one day there are no words to collect. Luna is very worried. Can it be has she collected them all and now no one has any words to use? What is Luna going to do?This is a very cute story I would recommend to preschoolers and up. Wimmer, S. (2011). The word collector. Madrid, Spain: Cuento De Luz. less
