review 1: Edwina, but for short Ted, and Ava are sisters that are completely different. Ted says that Ava is beautiful and she is some ugly, tall girl with one eyebrow instead of two. When Ava is diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer, their whole life style is turned upside down. Ted learns to see what really matters in life and Ava, even though she is scared can learn to over come her fears. This book explains how these two sisters, no matter how different, are the same in so many ways. I picked up this book because the title page caught my attention. After I read the little summary of the book I found it really interesting and I wanted to see what would happen to these two sisters. I finished this book because these two sisters are so different but after Ava's diagnosis they ... morereally learn how similar they are. I also wanted to see if Ava would survive through all the chemotherapy and radiation.I would recommend this book to Nithusa because it is dramatic with a little bit of love which are the type of books Nithusa likes to read. I think Nithusa would really like the meaning of this book.
review 2: The Look, a novel by Sophia Bennet, is a very good book. This book is about two sisters who look very different. Ava is a very pretty, popular girl. Ted isn't so much like that. She is always in the shadow of Ava. But one day, Ted is offered a modeling job and Ava is diagnosed with cancer. Ted has to think thoughtfully between continuing her new career or quit to help her sister. I highly recommend this novel. less
