review 1: Most of this series can be read stand-alone. There is enough back story given that you can get through. It is nice to have the info from the previous stories but not necessary. Not so this one. In my opinion you should at least read Found in Bliss (#5) and Once Upon a Time in Bliss. Logan and Seth are secondary characters in several of the previous books but in order to really understand what Logan has gone through you need to have read Found in Bliss (#5) and to understand Seth and Henry’s relationship you need to have read Once Upon a Time in Bliss. But even if you don’t or haven’t this is one of the strongest of the series. I laughed, cried, moaned and sighed as Seth and Logan finally get an opportunity to get their girl.MFM ménage
review 2: If
... more you were expecting the threesome in this book to be getting their freak on from go to woe - you'll be disappointed. This is a book about people resolving their issues - mainly Logan but Seth as well and even Georgia in part.I haven't read the previous two Bliss books so I missed some of Logan's / Henry's back story. I don't think it impacts overly. I liked Georgia in this book. She adapts and enjoys herself hugely. Her men - not so much. They both suffer from expecting the world to stand still whilst they're away. They have different reasons but this leads directly to them confronting their issues. The bad guys are kind of out of nowhere and perhaps feature in Henry's (back story) book but they still felt like they were suddenly there. And of course I noticed that we have a pair of half brothers that are going to have to be contacted as some point and I'm sure will feature as part of new menage in the future. We continue the tradition of the "I shot the son of a bitch" club for our heroine and at least here it was plausible (given the sudden bad guys).Happy ever after follows of course. It was nice to revisit Bliss and read the resolution of Logan's story but I don't think I'll be a regular visitor. less
