review 1: I guess your rating of a book depends to great degree on the timing of its coming into your life. I have been aware of Godwinks for quite some time and have been noticing their happening more and more in my life. After reading this book, I really do not believe there are many true coincidences. I do believe things happen for a reason; I believe in angels; I believe in Godwinks. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a quick read and not filled with hit-you-in-the-face-and-make-you-want-to-vomit evangelism. Author Squire Rushnell has an enlightening website as well.
review 2: This book wasn't as fascinating as I thought it would be, but that could be partly because some of the stories that he cites and summarizes, I had already read or at least had heard
... moreabout. The main thing that I took away from this book is to not necessarily look at "coincidences" as coincidences, but more as a Godwink, as the author likes to call them. He thinks that these coincidences could actually are actually and probably, pre-arranged by God. His catchy descriptions and terminology are amusing as well, such as: "Talk to the navigator", referring to God. less

Interesting read. The TODAY show did a good job promoting this book. I thought it would be better.

Sometimes I feel he changed topics and the reader gets lost for a minute but overall a decent book.
