review 1: This was kinda a different type of paranormal, or really supernatural story. It is set in the world of Norse mythology. Fans of the Thor movies might really like to give this one a try. I thought it was well done, filled with humor and action. There was great comradely among the characters and the lead female was an interesting mix of strength and more traditional feminine interests. Might give the longer books in this series a go if I am ever in the mood to read something a little different but still comfortably within my typical reading tastes.
review 2: Oh my Gods, I loved Inga, Gunnar, and Ull. Inga is such a strong character, Gunnar is playful, fun, a bit of a bad-ass, and a randy flirt, the relationship between them is perfect! They are both very st
... morerong, extremely confident and their relationship is completely solid. I find it fantastic how they seem to have an even share of sex appeal. I love how Inga knows how to get Gunnar going and isn't afraid to use her sexual power with her winks and smirks. What a great mix of action, friendship, love, humor, suspense, and sexiness. I was amazed at how few pages it took to hook me into this series. I can't wait to read "Elsker" and the rest of the saga! less
