review 1: Well, I finally made my way through it, clear to the end! This book was drawn-out, actionless, with weak characters and many grammatical errors. Much of the writing was just irritating. The two children in the story constantly "looked up at her with his little eyes" and that was just annoying to me. Cute children don't have little eyes. They have big beautiful eyes! Anyway, the only suspense was whether the spineless cad of a hero would leave his fiancee waiting at the altar and go after the good girl. He wavered and wavered and procrastinated all through the book! And somehow, unrealistically, even magically, all was forgiven at the end and the two main characters rode off into the sunset. I'm glad this book was a free kindle download, or I'd be kicking myself for the tim... moree and money wasted on it. Now all I have to regret is the time.
review 2: A good "God can restore things" book,I liked this book. I thought the characters were well developed, and the story well written. My reasons for 4 stars instead of 5? I felt the middle of the book read a bit too slow for my tastes. I also got frustrated with Keith's waiting until his wedding day to decide he was marrying the wrong person. Poor Dallas. Keith never crossed a moral line with Maggie, but he KNEW half way through the book that he didn't want the life that marrying Dallas would bring. He needed to talk to Dallas, then. I was also surprised that things moved very quickly between Maggie and Keith after the breakup. It's still a very good story. I will be reading more from Ms. Stallings. less

I really do love reading Christian stories. There's just something there... :)

Light and a quick read, but I felt the writing was somewhat immature.
