review 1: Nancy Grace was a little girl screaming to be helped and loved. Living with a mother who treated their daughter worse than a stranger would be hard for any child growing up. Nancy's mother used her as her way to means, what mother in their right mind sells their young child to men to teach them a lesson. Nancy grew up emotionally, physically and sexually abused from the help of her own mother. One day during an ordeal Nancy snaps and has to face her inner demon who turns into her best friend and starts to help Nancy with revenge against anyone who may have hurt her. Will Nancy be able to face whats happening or will things get worse before they get better? This was a really short read. I was looking forward to reading this because it seemed like it was going to be a go... moreod read. As you start reading you cant help but to fill bad for Nancy because she is being punished in such ways that no mother should ever do to their own child. It was really crazy and how Nancys mother was one way and then as the story goes on tries to have a major change because of what happened to Nancy. I see where the author was trying to go with the story and they story was a decent one. I just wish that more time would have been spent on editing because it seems like its all over the place. One minute its third person then its Nancy telling the story so the tense doesnt add up. There were also a few places where the story seems to jump around a little and I had to go back and see if i missed something or did it just move on to something else. Overall it was an okay story but if editing would have been fixed im sure would have been much better.
review 2: WARNING: Disturbingly Irresistible!!!Immediately drawn to the cover of this mis-titled, action packed, super short story that goes from 10-999 within the first few pages. I felt like I was watching a demonic horror movie! Although disturbingly irresistible, the story skipped around and lacked character development. We needed more of Cray Cray Martha's background. What could possibly scar a mother into mistreating her only child so harshly?! Where were the diary entries?! Who, what, when, why???????Just when the getting gets good, you're on edge about to throw up, the mysterious is building...THE STORY ENDS w/PART 2 COMING SOON! Not only was I disappointed that it was over so abruptly, I felt bombarded & bamboozled by a slue of advertisements!!!With all said...This author most def has potential and with this freakishly twisted imagination, she can only go up from here!EbonyEyeCU Reading on the fence less
