review 1: Three pretty damn fantastic stories - thrilling, engrossing, compelling. Intelligent, skilled writing with humor, wit, and emotional depth. Draven has a gift for developing psychological depth and perspective. Sometimes just a little too earnest for my sensibilities, and I couldn't always buy into the supposedly erotic surrender of consent, but on balance, a sincerely entertaining and powerfully affecting read.
review 2: Loved how there were 3 stories in 1 and the characters were all connected from the same party. The first story was way too short; wished it was more elaborate. It was difficult to read about the 2nd couple just because their sexual relationship is so scandalous but I think as a reader you'd have to be somewhat open minded. However the last stor... morey definitely made up for it, but again it was difficult to read about lovers sharing lovers.... Other than that, it was a fun book because it took place during the 20's :) less
