review 1: I love this series. The Dire Wolves are different as some have special abilities and are immortal. This is Jinx and Gillians story. Jinx has moved out of the Dire mansion and moved in with Jez a vampire. Jinx has closed the hole to purgatory but there are still a few Hellhounds running loose. He is on his way to a mental hospital to see about a monster. Gillian is a patient in the hospital because she is dangerous. When Jinx first meets Gillian he knows she is a female Dire wolf and he will do what he can to save her.
review 2: This series is basically the Black Dagger Brotherhood in wolf form. Some of the characters even have the same names. You have to read the series in order, there is some backstory but it's a reminder and not enough for the new reade... morer. I am a fan of the series, and I'll definitely be reading the next book. I loved that Gillian is a bad ass. And I loved all the side stuff with the other characters. But I can't wait for Vice's story, less
