review 1: D'aww, the sappy romantic in me just took a hit to the heart, in this short story the term "dragon slayer" of course has more meaning than simply what it seems. Drake is just that, a dragon slayer, a paladin, a seducer of dragons. It's the first night of him being a dragon slayer, so he doesn't know what it means when he goes looking for Flint, his roommate who he's had a crush on all year - and, a stone dragon. There are more kinds of dragons in the world than Drake realized, flame ones, sky dragons, and stone dragons like Flint. Drake wants to learn more, and Flint is willing to teach him - but first they have to survive this night - and all that comes after...
review 2: This was a fun romance to get caught up in. Beautifully written with smooth dialogue that
... more caught me right up in the story. I love the comedic side to the story. Poor Drake had all the power and so little lore to back it up. He just wanted to get laid by his roommate on his 21st birthday who he'd been lusting for all semester. Flint felt the same way and had the lore but didn't know that Drake was a slayer. This comedy of errors was a great, light-hearted short. less

A fine fantasy outing in Bennett Bay. Clever, witty, only the ending leaves you hanging.
