review 1: MMO gaming, meets classic D & D, meets heavy metal. And they all play nice together. For the most part.Fun, interesting characters that bring to life the more quirky of the high school teen cliques. Lesh is from the heavy metal group. Role playing games are not his thing. Until he gets grounded, then what else if there to do. Svetlana, embroiders, listens to Bjork, and is the very best Dungeon Master you could ask for! When their worlds collide, two very unlikely people bring out the best in each other. A fun read that will make you smile.
review 2: This book was quite a wonderful read. I can see how many people are putting it down though because they cannot relate to the characters. For me, however, this was not the case. I found myself relating to b... moreoth characters: nerdy, metal, and crafty. Although the book was not a page turner, it was in all a great book and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys said characteristics and a coming of age story. less
