review 1: Scrolling down the reviews and raves of this book have made me feel like a sabotager or just a plain hater for melodramatic books like these but I have read many books dealing with conflicts of all kinds fictionally. You could say i was disappointed with the writing style. The lack of precision for words and the loose language. I have nothing wrong with vulgarity though I would like sarcasm with witticism. Before you read this book, I recommend you read Pieces of Us before you rate this book. Willow and Last Night I sang to The Monster were real good reads too.
review 2: This book was good. Deep, underneath all the shallowness. It's actually one that has layers- a story that leaves you thinking, wiping a tear, re-reading the first few pages, and thinking some
... moremore. Examining the characters. Trying to make up your mind what the hidden meanings are, and why things happened. Very good storyline. Some of the characters may annoy you at first, but you also feel for them and connect with them. I enjoyed this book and I wish Steve much success. :) less

It was interesting, but I just didn't connect. It was realistic, but unsatisfying.
