review 1: Jefferson Tayte, genealogist, again uncovers and helps solve the mystery is a young woman presumed to have drowned when a passenger ship - The Empress of the Sea - goes down in he Atlantic in 1914. If she died then how could she be the grandmother of one of Tayte's clients? While looking for clues Tayte uncovers a German spy mystery from World War I that involves surprising characters then and now. All comes out right in the end and we're set up for his next mystery into the past.
review 2: The fourth book in the Jefferson Tayte genealogical series, and it does not disappoint at all, again another great story, can highly recommend, this book tells the story of Alice Stilwell, set in the early 1900's just prior to world war one, Alice's husband is kidnapped a... morend Alice is forced to spy on her country in order to save her husband but things are not what they appear to be, in the present day JT is on the case, but as always JT gets himself in hot water again, or in this case the cold sea, but cannot wait to see what happens in the next book. less
