review 1: I really enjoyed this book. The only reason I didn't rank it higher is it's not quite as good as other books in my 4 category. But that's mostly personal preference. This is well written and compelling. It helps me get through so much non-fiction since it reads like a book of short stories or a magazine of zany facts. If you like the other Freakenomics books (which I did), this one is very similar. At first I wasn't sure about the self-help aspect, but they still managed to put in lots of fun stories, like in the others.

... moreast "Best of" or, do not listen to the podcast, then this book is for you. I would give it a 4-5 star for those who don't listen to the podcast it will be a great read. For avid fans of the series it was a bit redundant. less
